I believe that it’s not a lack of insight or effort that you might find yourself in. Many women I work with, begin this journey already understanding their patterns and have done the work. But their nervous systems still carrying the load of survival and trauma patterns.
I was once there too. Once I focused on the nervous system, everything changed. As a Latina Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and EMDR, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade experience, I am here to teach you the tools to relate to your body and different parts of you with compassion, so you feel the safety inside, live within your capacity, while gently expanding it. Let’s do this together.
True healing is through embodiment
In a society that glamorizes pushing through, fixing, productivity, and distractibility, we can become easily disconnected from ourselves.
It’s not your fault — these systems are built this way.
However, I believe that healing happens when we get curious about our bodies, support nervous system regulation, and experience slow processing of experiences we haven’t felt safe to feel, and to be held and witnessed by another individual.
True embodiment happens when we include and relate to our cultural experiences, values, and the parts of us we have ignored or suppressed. Doing so, we feel the relief we’ve been searching for, and create a life based on our capacity. We accept and feel where we are in the present moment.

Somatic Experiencing (SE), is a gentle, body-led, holistic model to heal stuck self protection patters in the body in order to feel more nervous system regulation, vitality and empowerment. Great for both trauma healing and stress recovery.
You will also learn about Polyvagal Theory, which provides the understanding of the role of the autonomic system and different physiological states and how it responds.

EMDR is an integrative approach that helps reducing overwhelming emotions into a neutral or minor feelings about a memory, as well as can increase positive self perception. I incorporate a holistic approach with SE, and IFS.

Providing an Internal Family Systems -Informed approach, IFS is a compassionate approach to healing the relationship with yourself, so that you feel more empowered and connected to yourself. This approach is incorporate with the other healing approaches in Therapy
