    Created and developed by Stephen Porges, PhD, the theory emphasizes the role on the autonomic nervous system and the different physiological states in regulating our health and behavior.

    Somatic Experiencing

    I primarily use Somatic Experiencing (SE), a gentle, body-led, holistic model to heal stuck self protection patters in the body in order to feel more nervous system regulation, vitality and empowerment. This is good for both trauma healing and stress recovery. As a holistic approach, I include IFS, SSP, and HeartMath.

    EMDR

    EMDR is an integrative approach that helps reducing overwhelming emotions into a neutral or minor feelings about a memory, as well as can increase positive self perception. I incorporate a holistic approach with SE, IFS, SSP, and HeartMath when appropriate.

    Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate approach to healing the relationship with yourself, so that you feel more empowered and connected to yourself. This approach is incorporate with the other healing approaches in Trauma Therapy
